The Pyramid Illusion

Which colored dot most accurately marks the vertical midpoint of this triangle?

It is a trick question because the triangle has 2 midpoints to choose from. One dot marks the "visual" midpoint, or what looks to us like the midpoint. Another dot marks the "true" geometric midpoint.

Many viewers pick the Yellow dot as the true vertical midpoint of the triangle because it "looks" like the right spot. However, a ruler will show that the Blue dot marks the "true" or actual vertical midpoint.
